Our annual employee-led fundraising campaign
Community Investment
ATCO Midstream is comprised of individuals who live, work and are involved in local communities. Supporting community activities is a natural way for us, as a company, to support our employees. When done well, community involvement is also an opportunity to build on and grow relationships where there is a business objective. When employee, business and community needs mirror each other, community sponsorship opportunities have the greatest potential for making a strong impact.
As ATCO Midstream evaluates these sponsorship opportunities, we look for community-based projects that bring the most value to employees, positively reflect our brand values, showcase our products or services, and support our business objectives.

Areas of focus:
Safety
In the work that we do, our number one priority is on employee, contractor and partner safety. Opportunities that leverage the importance of maintaining a hazard-free workplace to current employees, or to youth who may one day work for us, builds on our corporate culture of safety awareness.
Education
We recognize the value in supporting future talent that we may one day recruit. Opportunities in this category create a well-trained, highly motivated, inclusive workforce particularly in the trades and engineering fields.
Environment
Our employees live and play in the communities we operate in. Above and beyond that, we are a responsible corporate citizen and part of our responsibility holds an obligation to consider opportunities that protect, maintain and honour local environments.
Aboriginal relationships
Community and education initiatives that foster cultural exchange strengthen ATCO's relationships with Aboriginal groups. ATCO Midstream works in areas where there is a high Aboriginal population and we are a potential employer for many Aboriginal groups. We look for opportunities that offer diversity training and builds mutual understanding.
