Kevin Cumming Kevin Cumming

Kevin Cumming was appointed President of ATCO Midstream in August 2004. He holds a Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology from NAIT and a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Alberta.

Kevin held leadership roles with Northwestern Utilities from 1986 until 1995 when he joined ATCO Midstream’s predecessor company as the Manager of Marketing and Project Development. He became Vice President, Gas Gathering and Processing and, in 2002, was appointed Vice President, Business Development.

Kevin is a Councilor for the Association of Professional Engineers, Geologists and Geophysicists of Alberta (APEGGA).  He is a former Director and Executive member of the Gas Processors Association of Canada (GPAC). Kevin was also a Director with Small Explorers and Producers Association of Canada (SEPAC).

Mike Dever

Senior Vice President & General Manager

Mike Dever graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Calgary in 1983. He completed a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Alberta in 1992. Mike began his career as a Gas Engineer with Texaco Canada in 1983.

Mike joined Wolcott Gas Processing in 1995 with responsibilities for the Empress Gas Liquids and Nottingham Plants. With the ATCO acquisition of Wolcott in 2001, Mike was appointed Senior Engineer, Operations at ATCO Midstream. He held successively progressive positions until his appointment to Senior Vice President & General Manager in 2009.

Mike is a current member of the Association of Professional Engineers, Geologists and Geophysicists of Alberta (APEGGA).

Bob Cerkiewicz

Vice President, Controller

Bob Cerkiewicz was appointed Vice President, Controller, ATCO Midstream in June 2009.

Bob has most recently held the position of Vice President, Business Analysis for ATCO Ltd., and Canadian Utilities Limited. He joined ATCO in 1982 in financial planning and accounting and has since held various financial management positions within ATCO Group, including Vice President, Commercial and Controller with ATCO Pipelines and Controller with ATCO Power.

Bob holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree and Chartered Accountant designation and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Alberta.

Marie Yan

Vice President, Storage & Energy Services

Marie has been employed with ATCO since 1992 and with ATCO Midstream or its predecessor companies during most of this time. She has held progressively responsible positions in the Contracts and Marketing functions until her appointment to Manager, Storage and Energy Services in 2004 and became Senior Manager in February 2007. Marie was appointed Vice President of this group in January 2008.

Marie graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Calgary in 1990. Prior to joining ATCO Marie worked as a Project Engineer with Esso Chemical Alberta Limited. Marie is a current member of the Association of Professional Engineers, Geologists and Geophysicists of Alberta (APEGGA).

Bob began his career with ATCO in 1993 with Northwestern Utilities Limited and joined ATCO Midstream in 1999 in the Storage and Energy Services group as Project Engineer.  He held progressively responsible positions in the Gas Gathering and Processing, Natural Gas Liquids and Storage groups leading to his appointment to Senior Manager, Gas Gathering and Processing in 2010.

Bob graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Alberta in 1993 and is a current member of the Association of Professional Engineers, Geologists and Geophysicists of Alberta (APEGGA).

Miriam Mitchell-Banks

Miriam Mitchell-Banks
Senior Manager,
Natural Gas Liquids 

Miriam Mitchell-Banks was appointed to the position of Senior Manager, Natural Gas Liquids in July 2008. She was most recently employed with BP Canada Energy Ltd. as Manager, Field Supply and Logistics and previously held positions with Provident Energy Ltd. (Midstream Strategy Development), Williams Energy Ltd. (Business Development, Project Management and Commercial Operations) and TransCanada Midstream and Pipelines (Commercial Assets and Competitor Research).

Miriam holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting Major) from the University of Calgary and has a Chartered Accountant designation.

Trevor Adams Trevor Adams
Manager, Human Resources & Corporate Services

Trevor began his career with ATCO as a Senior Human Resources Advisor with ATCO Structures in January 2007 and assumed the role of Manager, Human Resources for ATCO Midstream in December 2007.

Prior to joining ATCO Trevor held human resource management positions with Blockbuster Canada Co. as well as Federated Co-operatives Limited. Trevor graduated from the University of Alberta in 1993 with a Bachelor of Commerce degree and in 2003 attained the Certified Human Resources Professional designation (CHRP).
