Mike Dever

Mike Dever
Senior Vice President & General Manager

Mike Dever graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Calgary in 1983. He completed a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Alberta in 1992. Mike began his career as a Gas Engineer with Texaco Canada in 1983.

Mike joined Wolcott Gas Processing in 1995 with responsibilities for the Empress Gas Liquids and Nottingham Plants. With the ATCO acquisition of Wolcott in 2001, Mike was appointed Senior Engineer, Operations at ATCO Midstream. He held successively progressive positions until his appointment to Senior Vice President & General Manager in 2009.

Mike is a current member of the Association of Professional Engineers, Geologists and Geophysicists of Alberta (APEGGA).

 

Randy Hughes
Vice President, Business Development

Randy began his career with the ATCO Group as a summer student working for Canadian Western Natural Gas in 1988.  Randy held progressively responsible positions within CWNG and ATCO Gas Services until briefly leaving ATCO in 1998.  In 2000 Randy returned to the Group to rejoin ATCO Midstream as Manager, Business Development.  In 2001 Randy accepted the position of Commercial Manager, Natural Gas Liquids and was promoted to the position of Senior Manager of the NGL group in 2003.  Randy was promoted to Vice President, NGL in 2004.  In 2005 Randy moved to ATCO Structures to assume the position of Vice President, Sales & Project Management.

Randy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical and Petroleum Engineering from the University of Calgary.

 

Marie Yan

Marie Yan
Vice President, Gas Gathering & Processing and Storage & Energy Services

Marie has been employed with ATCO since 1992 and with ATCO Midstream or its predecessor companies during most of this time. She has held progressively responsible positions in the Contracts and Marketing functions until her appointment to Manager, Storage and Energy Services in 2004 and became Senior Manager in February 2007. Marie was appointed Vice President of this group in January 2008. Most recently Marie was appointed to the Vice President, Gas Gathering & Processing.

Marie graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Calgary in 1990. Prior to joining ATCO Marie worked as a Project Engineer with Esso Chemical Alberta Limited. Marie is a current member of the Association of Professional Engineers, Geologists and Geophysicists of Alberta (APEGGA).

 

Rob Harper 
Controller 

Rob joined ATCO Frontec in November 2007 as Manager, Financial Reporting. In July 2009, Rob moved into the Controller role at ATCO Structures & Logistics (AS&L) and most recently held the position of Director, International Operations & Financial Planning with AS&L. Rob was appointed to the position of Controller at ATCO Midstream in September, 2011. Rob brings a wealth of experience through many years with Loblaws/Westfair Foods where he held several roles with progressively more responsibility.

 

In addition to holding a Bachelor of Commerce degree from McMaster University, Rob is also a Chartered Accountant (CA).

 

 

 

 

 

 

  Paul Homik                            
  Senior Manager, Natural Gas Liquids

 

Paul began his career with ATCO Midstream in 2006 as a Senior Marketing Representative and was promoted to Commercial Manager, Natural Gas Liquids in 2007. In 2011, Paul was appointed to Senior Manager and directs the Commercial, Engineering and Operations groups within the Natural Gas Liquids business unit.

Prior to joining ATCO, Paul gained domestic and international experience in the petrochemical and converting industries and held a variety of progressively responsible roles at Nova Chemicals and Winpak Ltd.

 

Paul holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Manitoba in 1991 and is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers, Geologists and Geophysicists of Alberta (APEGGA) and Manitoba (APEGM).

 

 

Meigan McDonald
Manager, Human Resources & Corporate Services

Meigan joined ATCO Power in 2008 as Senior HR Advisor and was shortly thereafter moved into the role of Team Leader, Recruitment & Workforce Planning then Team Leader, Talent Management, directing the talent management function within ATCO Power.  She assumed the role of Manager, Human Resources for ATCO Midstream in November 2010.

 

Prior to joining ATCO Power Meigan gained valuable human resources experience with Nova Chemicals, Watson Wyatt and Nexen. Meigan earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Bishop’s University as well as an MBA from the University of Calgary. Meigan is a member of the Human Resources Association of Canada (HRAC).
